SEDCO Holding concluded its 31st football tournament bringing together 16 teams in participation of 250 players from the Group over a span of 28 days. The tournament aimed to strengthen and activate communication, and drive the spirit of competitiveness among the Group and its operating companies under an entertaining and exciting atmosphere. Elaf team was crowned winner of the 31st football tournament after a 1-0 win against Intimaa during the final match.

Anees Ahmad Moumina, CEO of SEDCO Holding Group expressed his appreciation towards employees’ high turnout and participation in SEDCO’s internal programs. He was very proud of the football tournament success in improving employees skills by fostering teamwork spirit, which has become one of the most dynamic initiatives serving the Group’s objectives. “Since the tournament’s establishment in 1987, it has been achieving success and motivating employees, and in its 31st edition, the tournament has once again reflected the importance of investing in our human capital, making the Group among the “Best Working Environment” companies in the Kingdom. During the closing ceremony, Elaf was crowned 2018 SEDCO Football Tournament champions while Intimaa was awarded second place. Outstanding players were also recognized as well as the tournament founders who are still on the job since 1987. Since inception, the tournament has been enjoying high acclaim and interest from the Group’s employees and its operating companies, and it welcomed families and children this year to watch the games, which confirms the tournament’s success throughout its journey over the past three decades.
