The education sector is a key pillar of its Focus 2025 strategy
SEDCO Holding, Saudi Arabia’s leading ethical and sustainable investor, participated in the “Emkan School Conference 2021″ as the main partner of the conference, joining other international bodies, such as Harvard Graduate School (HGSE), The Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). The conference, which was held virtually on February 21, 2021, brought together a group of teachers, thought leaders and decision-makers to discuss the most important and important trends in the education sector and to develop a roadmap for the future.
“Resilient Education” emerged as a key theme for the year, given the disruptive impact of Covid-19 on both schools and learners. A rich itinerary of talks and workshops also discussed innovation in education — from making use of data and AI to improve the learning process, to developing agile thinking in educators.
SEDCO Holding is keen to support targeted educational initiatives such as the “Emkan School Conference 2021”, in line with the group’s approach that highlights education as one of the main sectors in its business strategy “Focus 2025”. The group supports investment in quality education systems, which are crucial to the Kingdom’s vision 2030, as it is necessary to prepare a highly-skilled workforce that can establish a strong infrastructure to achieve economic growth and sustainable development at the national level.
