SEDCO Holding, a leading Saudi investment company, has announced the launch of its Green Mark Initiative as part of its 2024 environmental program “Be’aty”. The initiative aims to promote the concept and importance of environmental sustainability by raising awareness among its employees and equipping them with the necessary tools to minimize their environmental footprint within and beyond the office through a series of interactive activities and workshops.

 

 

The program is expected to achieve positive results in the first half of the year, including energy savings of 18,737 kWh, the preservation of 55.2 trees, and the conservation of 22,715 gallons of water.

 

Through the “Be’aty” program, SEDCO Holding seeks to create a culture of environmental responsibility that paves the way for achieving its long-term sustainability goals that align with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives for sustainable development. The program is designed to raise environmental awareness and develop sustainable practices among employees.

 

The Green Mark initiative features interactive training workshops for cleaning staff, ensuring they are proficient in best practices for waste collection and sorting. Additionally, “The sustainability in our daily lives event featured interviews with employees, highlighting their sustainable habits. These efforts were documented in a presentation aimed at inspiring employees and cultivating a culture of sustainability among them. These steps have significant importance in driving long-term sustainability.
