Al Qadisiyah, Riyadh
With Vision 2030 calling for Riyadh to become one of the world’s major economic cities and double its population by 2030, SEDCO’s real estate strategy has increasingly reflected a sharper focus on the capital as a key business and residential hub.
Against this backdrop, SEDCO and two partners acquired 1.9 million sqm of prime land in Al Qadisiyah, north of Riyadh, in January 2021. We subsequently entered a partnership agreement with Hamad M. Al Mousa Real Estate Company to undertake the site’s subdivision, infrastructure, and residential/mixed-use development. Al Qadisiyah’s proximity to King Khalid International Airport and accessibility to key transportation networks made the area an ideal choice for such a development project.
