Riyadh – SEDCO Holding has been awarded the National Award for Volunteering under the Entities Track – Support for Volunteering category for 2025, during the celebration of the Saudi and International Volunteer Day. The award was presented by H.E. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector.
This recognition reflects SEDCO Holding’s sustained commitment to embedding a culture of volunteering across the organization. The achievement builds on the company’s strong performance in previous award cycles in 2023 and 2024, underscoring its long-term dedication to social responsibility and measurable community impact.
SEDCO Holding’s nomination highlighted a portfolio of high-impact volunteering initiatives, including:
- “Capabilities Without Limits”, implemented on Saudi and International Volunteer Day to support the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
- “Fabric of Giving”, a Ramadan initiative focused on supporting families and strengthening social solidarity.
- The Student Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program under Rowad SEDCO, aimed at supporting university students and developing their entrepreneurial capabilities.
These initiatives have contributed to increased employee participation in volunteering and enhanced the company’s societal impact through structured, sustainable programs with clear value creation.
As part of its efforts to further strengthen its volunteering ecosystem, SEDCO Holding has recently joined the Cooperative Volunteering Network, overseen by the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector. This step aims to foster collaboration, exchange best practices, and enhance coordination among entities to elevate the quality and effectiveness of volunteering initiatives across the Kingdom.
