SEDCO Holding Delivers SEDCO Volunteering Day Through a Pioneering Initiative to Empower Youth with Down Syndrome

Jeddah – SEDCO Holding delivered the latest edition of SEDCO Volunteering Day through a pioneering initiative designed to empower youth with Down syndrome by providing structured, hands-on training opportunities within a professional workplace environment. The initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility agenda and its ongoing efforts to strengthen a culture of volunteering among employees.

Launched under the theme “Capabilities Without Limits,” the initiative hosted a group of youth for a three-day practical training program across several departments. SEDCO employee volunteers provided mentorship and guidance, contributing to the development of participants’ communication skills, sense of responsibility, and teamwork capabilities.

The program included introductory workshops, mentoring sessions, and educational and interactive activities. It concluded with an open day that brought together the trainees and SEDCO employees in a dedicated event celebrating participants’ achievements and reinforcing principles of inclusion and social integration.

SEDCO Volunteering Day reflects the company’s sustained commitment to its social role and its focus on designing initiatives that deliver measurable, long-term impact while supporting the inclusion of beneficiary groups. This approach aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to empower communities and strengthen the non-profit sector.

SEDCO Holding will continue to advance its volunteering programs, expand employee participation, and introduce innovative initiatives that contribute to community development and enhance quality of life.
